1) How does this  His Dark Materials  trailer meet the conventions of a TV drama series?  It features a range of characters, multiple narratives, multiple settings, dilemma and problems, heroes and villains, plot twists, cliff hangers, sounds and dramatic narratives usually linear. 2) What genre (or genres) are suggested by this  His Dark Materials  trailer? I think its more of a science-fiction genre with more action as there's a lot going on in different episodes 3) What kind of characters and narratives are introduced in this trailer? We are introduced to the teachers and the child and then they meet the mysterious doctor who is also the child grandfather, as he is the doctor he should be the protagonist however he is featured in the first episode as an antagonist.   4) What settings appear in the trailer?
